The drawing tools of titanium wire, titanium tube and titanium bar mainly include drawing die and mandrel.

There are two kinds of drawing dies for titanium wire, pipe and bar: cemented carbide die and alloy steel chromium plating die. The subdivision includes titanium pipe die, titanium bar and titanium wire die. Their structures are basically the same. In order to reduce the drawing force and prolong the service life of the die, pressurized die and ultrasonic drawing can be used. Although cemented carbide die has high strength, it has poor toughness and is easy to break when used directly. Therefore, a steel sleeve should be inserted outside the die to increase the strength and supporting force. The steel sleeve is generally made of carbon cable tool steel or 45 steel.

The drawing mandrel shall be determined according to the size of the drawn pipe and designed according to the actual needs. If the long core rod is stretched, the length of the core rod shall be 200 ~ 300mm longer than the actual pipe .
